So, Lets re count what bikes and what condition:
Newest addition: 1992 Honda
CBR250RR
status: leaks fork oil. need brakes, suspension, tires, exhaust system. The body work
Project: 1994 Honda VFR 750
status: Apart. Leaks fuel at the carbs. booked in for suspension work. Needs front head bearing, chain, body work back on. But its surprisingly close to being done...
touring: 2008 Honda CBF1000.
status: 100% running. She needs an oil change soon, but its only got 6K km on it. (doubled what it had when I got it)
track bike: 2009 (08?) Suzuki SV650 S
status: for sale. Just about a push button track rat. It aint pretty. but CBR forks/brakes, olhins steering damper and rear shock...there is a bit of mney in this thing
and last but not least; the TWO triumph daytonas.
black nose is a 2006 675 which is slated to be my NEW track bike
, blue is a 2011 675 that is my current daily
06 status: needs fork seals, and I think I’m just going to get track bodywork, fuck it.
11 status: Weird vibration in the front end, and leaking a bit of oil from the counter shaft cover. also lost a body work bolt today. Oh well. Valve check is about due as well if I am honest.
So who is missing?
My 2013 Z1000 Se sold a few weeks ago. I’ll miss that wheelie monster. I wont miss the fuel consumption, tire consumption, lack of wind protection, or the weight.
The 2015 CBR300R that I had as a back up for the daytona was sold to my friend, as the 250RR takes over its duties.
Everyone else, BIKE UPDATES!

Got the st3 back a few weeks ago, forks were leaking and fixed an oil leak behind the primary. BSA, is still in pieces, been a busy last month and havent really touched it. Long laundry list for that old girl and with summer coming up, I am not really anticipating getting a whole lot done

Uhh.... my kz750 didn’t start this spring and I haven’t had time to dig into it. Compression seems suspiciously low. Carbs are on the bench for cleaning, and I need to pull the valve cover and looks for a source of the compression issue. My ‘project’ kz750 is still packed in bins in my basement, as are my 2 vespa mopeds. Shoot, that’s not how this is supposed to work!
I’m digging your fleet, and that CBR250RR looks really cool

Got my license a few days ago, riding gear is all on the way, and as soon as I get over a nasty cold I ’m looking at a brand new Monster 821 that’s being sold at 3.5 k under MSRP due to “minor cosmetic damage”
Assuming that works out, I'll probably look for a dirt cheap dirt bike in 6 months or so
AMGtech - now with more recalls!

Monster is in the shop for service and to check on possible oil consumption. Been riding my girlfriend's 390 Duke for the last week. Fun little bike!

Grom - scheduled to be sold this weekend. Two people flaked and one more showed up with a grand less than what we talked about and practically tried to roll it into his van while I told him that, no, it wasn’t “close enough”. One kid wanted me to ride it over 75 miles to “meet him halfway” when I told him I couldn’t deliver it. ANd then had the balls to say I should take money off the price since technically, he’s going out of his way.
Triumph - Diva queen. Shifter is sticky now too and the throttle cable is jamming up somewhere. Still haven’t taken the brake level off. Turn signals are still jank. But by god, that engine is still so sweet. She does 100mph with ease and actually, the suspension is very well set up for my weight. Handles bumps and road imperfections with a lot of composure. Way nicer than my old nighthawk.
KLR - KLR.

KLR always checks out. I realized yesterday I hadn’t lubed the chain in a couple hundred miles. Or changed the oil. Or even looked at the oil. Or.....really ever done TCLOCS at all since I did my usual start-of-season maintenance.
It was perfectly fine and continues to encourage bad maintenance habits.
